Founded in Cape Coral in 1982 by Al Barnes, who started with one truck and one helper, this family business now serves Lee and Collier counties. Family members run the construction and administrative sides. Barnes Pools designs and custom-builds gunite pools and spas in any shape and size, with a range of pool finishes. Renovations refresh older pools, and spa additions can be made to existing ones. A dedicated repair department supports the construction work, and the company is known locally for its repair service. Certified Pool/Spa Contractor. First licensed 1981-10-26. No Construction Industry Licensing Board discipline on file in the last five fiscal years. A CPC or RP license is what Florida requires to build or remodel a pool; servicing is a limited scope on the same license, and SCC/RX specialty registrations cannot take a pool build directly.
